With the holidays right around the corner, everyone is looking for unique gifts to give and treats to have around for when company stops by. A nice box of cookies makes a wonderful gift for the mailman, ups man, a teacher, a relative and many more. Brookie Cookie creates treats that look like cookies but taste like brownies! So if you like that cookie feel and love the taste of brownies, this is a treat for you. Brookie Cookies was founded in 2010. Back then, they started out locally in Brooklyn, New York being sold as party favors. Within a short amount of time, they moved from party favors to being the main event.
Brookie Cookie is 100% natural with no preservatives. They start every recipe with unbleached un-bromated flour, cocoa, dark chocolate chips, cocoa butter, sugar, soybean oil, chocolate liquor, butter, cage free or organic eggs, vanilla extract, sodium bicarbonate, and then the ingredients vary depending on the cookie. Currently, there are 6 flavors available; original, almond pecan, creme pie, pretzel crunch, cinnamon spice and Texas trio. Some flavors are seasonal, so if you are set on trying all of them you better order soon.
Lots of slivered almonds, as well as chunks of walnuts, graced the top of his Brookie Cookie. It tasted like a brownie with nuts on top. The nuts did not go through the cookie
This is two Brookie Cookies with a creme filling. You need a glass of milk for this one.
The cookie was crunchy, but the pretzel was soft. It was like it has absorbed the moisture from the cookie because this one was not as moist as the others.
Now this cookie is only around the holidays. There is a very strong cinnamon spice flavor.
You can order your box of cookie for the holidays or gifts online.
